anyone near Chatteris with engine crane

Anyone on here close to chatteris got an engine crane iv got an engine that needs lifting out its not been fitting etc just resting on a jack. Just need a huge favour and someone with a crane to just hook it up and lift out

You must be pretty strong then lol!

You can slide it or 'walk' it on the corners, but you'll ruin the sump (I know from experience!). Could hire a crane from HSS, but it'll be about £30 a day. Also try ebay/gumtree as individuals often hire out cranes.

Just get a mate to help you lift it out put the jack on the subframe and lower it as much as you can so you don't have to lift it as high
