Id make one bud. I presume your talking about the Battery Negative Lead to the Gearbox?. I Gutted the old battery leads off an Escort van at my local scrappy (which have vertical tightening 10mm nutts) and crimped/soldered new tags on. Works great on mine :-)

You will find they are all corroded now. A new one is about £30 from pug.

Which 'earth strap' do you want? I have one from the Battery neg to earth if that's the bit.

This is the one that comes from the battery area and then splits into 2 down near the gearbox
