last night I came across a electrical fault
when my ign is off with out without keys in I flash my head lights and the battery light comes on also so does the cd player and piller mounted gauges
and when my car is running and my lights are on if a switch to full beam they stick on until I dissconnet the battery....
any one any ideas before I scrap the basterd??

Sounds like a possible earth related issue to me.

loads of folk are saying that but thares loads of earths and i dont know whare half of them are placed

I would say check how your pilar gauges are wired.
Has this started to happen when the gauges were installed?

There aren't that many earth points tbh.
Though I'm wondering if you've got a faulty light switch, as it seems odd that it's both light related.
