Hi all,
Names matt im from mid wales and aged 23.
Current cars in my stable are as follows:
Black 306 Rallye
Green 306 D-turbo
Black Megane 225
Blue Mk1 Renault Clio 16v
As you can probably tell im a french nut through and through.
Thought i would sign up here as i have had my Rallye for a while and have fallen quite in love with it.
Anyway enough about me, Heres my Rallye:
Apologies for the shit quality pictures.
Its an ongoing (on the road) project with the idea just to renew and refresh the whole car bit by bit untill its all functional and tidy. Its currently on 164k miles and still going strong.
Has the car been on the owners club before?
Matt

Welcome!
If nobody on this forum recognises the car, someone on the '6 and rallye forum might.
This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.

The clio is awaiting collection as it was a spur of the moment monday morning 350 quid bargain
The D-turbo is in my workshop awaiting a thermostat and waterpump etc as that was a £400 bargain with 12 months ticket
RetroPug - thanks for that ![Smile Smile](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) I didnt know there was a seperate forum but seeing as i own both the d-turbo and the rallye i think i'll be sticking around here.

Fairly simple hour max for a garage I'd same.do with a mate if you do it yourself as cable is really hard to trace once its all out.i.e tie some string to it so u can see the route it takes through body otherwise its a proper mission to do.

Aha Thankyou 7057sam i will be tackling the problem head on tomorrow as soon as the new cable arrives at work!
Does come in handy being a parts manager when you need parts for your own car ![lol lol](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/legacy/lol.gif) New cable costing me £28 quid ![Smile Smile](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) also decided too treat the Dturbo too a new battery, heater matrix / thermostat and fixed the electric window and door card etc. Been a busy weekend!

Driven it out of the shed and down my drive which trust me is enough to test any clutch cable ![lol lol](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/legacy/lol.gif) also removed the spring / plunger jobby from the clutch pedal and its much better ![Smile Smile](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) feels exactly like it should!

Did you find the auto adjuster had seized solid? Usually that's what goes on them, spouse it does nt help it runs under and behind the engine.

I just lost all freeplay in the pedal and then the clutch gradually got closer and closer too the floor untill it became undriveable.
Last drive in it was 14 miles with no clutch so my next job on the rallye is too replace the box oil

It is now back on the road, did 50 odd miles last night, clutch feels fantastic and im very happy with it ![Smile Smile](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smile.png) just too note i removed the little sping jobby from the clutch pedal altogether and i would recommend doing it!

Hi there fella only just realised you had replied too me, sorry for that!
I live in knighton and work in Bishops Castle so i do wind up in welshpool occasionally, sometimes take the scenic route too shrewsbury through the pokey little roads around White Grit and Minsterley. The rallye seems perfectly suited too those B roads.
