is it correct size for xud or is it smaller? . .

Debatable wherever it's too restrictive
Yes the own breather is a larger diameter, however I ran this briefly with no problems And before that just ran a pop bottle with a pen hole in for breathing, far from ideal. But didn't blow my dipstick out in either case. Basically a bit of cheap engine bay bling
