Is it necessary? Power steering cooling
#1
The sedan took a bit of a bump in its life to the lower cross member and the power steering cooling pipe took a pretty good knock, and has leaked all the fluid out of the system
Im planning on doing an electric power steering conversion, inc removing the power steering pump off the engine
Is the cooling pipe really needed? Or can i just sack it off and go for shorter pipes when i figure out where to mount the electric PS pump?

Its the thing resting on the towel:

The XS models and below didn't come with one, so its not necessary.
