Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

It's a myth I've blown 2 engines first was a dhy spat one rod
Most recently spat 2 rods on a low mileage d8a Nothing's safe

what have people ran on hdi rods ? didnt think it sounded right
14-11-2013, 02:28 PM
201bhp, he spat a rod, and theres a guy on here that ran 236bhp, think his is still going.

I would imagine it was not the rod at fault really, more likely to be the bearing.

I put Hdi rods in for piece of mind... Not that thats at all relevant to you
