So I have just picked up my bosch conversion,along with some other odds and sods and am wondering whether it is good sense to buy the engine the geezer had for £100 and kill mine while i build up the other one.Can get a transit pump for a score and TD04 for a bullseye.My current engine has got 190,000 on it and the other has 140.000.The car probably owes me about a grand by now,is 15 years old,and worth about £500.Is it worth the extra hassle and dough?And how much extra dough do i need?

Buy the other motor if its close and known to be good but knock him down to £80, always worth keeping a spare with a dturbo
