hello all,
not wanting to spam the boards with my 50 questions a day but..
will these fit a 306 hdi?
ebay link here
theyre 4x108 so i know theyll fit the bolt holes but i assume i will need spigot rings and spacers? if so what size do i need for both?
looking for a wider than normal stance by the way 10mm front 15mm rear if it were from standard fit alloys so unsure what these would need to get the same effect?
cheers

Will need 20mm spacers with 65.1 female and 63.3 male spigot to achieve fitment as per standard. Those are an inch wider than standard, so to get your stance you'll probably need 15mm fronts and a 20mm rears, don't know if the clearance would be alright at the front on full lock like that though.
EDIT: Just seen he says et16 in the description, thought escorts were about 35, my bad. So yeah, in that case rears would need 5mm spacers and you'll need to bore out the centres to 65.1mm.

Thankyou
So I'll need
2 x 65.1 female
2 x 63.3 male
2 x 15mm front spacers
2 x 25mm rear spacers ?

The rears just 5mm to get my desired stance? What about the fronts? Sorry I'm no good with offsets/bores etc
How much would I be looking at to get the centres bored? I assume I'd need to take them to a specialist machining shop? Then the same spigot rings you told me in the original post?
Thanks

Found a hubcentric spacer kit here
clicky
Says I can stick those OZs with the Ford centre bore onto the 306 hub and also space it out 20mm
Would these be far too wide and cause serious rubbing though?
Thanks

Yes they would be, you'd need a lot of stretch to keep it legal. :S
Just need the last bit of my post - sorry, forget the stuff about spigots, getting the centres bored will do the same job and do it better. Your local engineering shop should be able to sort you out.
5 or 10mm spacers on the rear should set it where you want it. Standard 306 offset is 15-18, so at et16 these will fit as standard. BUT, they're an inch wider than standard wheels (half an inch each side of the centre line) so will stick out 12-13mm further anyway. That means the fronts are where you want them and the rears will only need 5mm-10mm, make sense?
Can i suggest you do a bit of reading around, just so you understand what you're working with. I'd hate to give advice that was misinterpreted and you end up out of pocket/time as a result.

I'll ring a few local engineering firms in the morning and see what they can do for me, may not even bother with the spacers till a later date if they're not actually needed for fitment I just thought I'd get two birds with one stone if I actually needed some to fit them :p
I've worked out they need to bore 1.9mm away for them to be the 65.1mm for pug fitment, could they actually do it that specifically or would it have to be 2mm?
I'll make sure to do some further research so I know exactly what I'm doing. Thanks a lot though, repped

Fair play, you may need spacers just to stop them clipping them inside of the arches on full lock or if your beams got some camber, but should be ok. I've actually got a set of 5mm spacers here i'm getting rid of if you're interested.
Tbh if you've worked that much out you're most of the way there, its not difficult once you get all the terms straight. That and remembering offset works in the opposite way to what you'd expect lol.
No problem, always glad to help.

How much would you want for those and would normal wheel bolts be alright for 5mm?
Yes haha quite confusing thinking that spacers make the offset drop lol!

Just another thought, will the bolt sizes be the same on these?

You might get away with it, but will probably find you need longer bolts, i'm not sure how deep the hub face is on ford wheels... If you can't do them up at least a full five turns before they're tight, then you need longer ones really. By size i assume you mean m10, m12, m14, etc, in which case yes, pug and ford are both m12, the threads are different sizes though.
