Hello all,
Snapped a bosch injector .
Am i going to hve to replace the set? Or just get another bosch one?

you should be able in theory to swap for another bosch in good condition but the derv guys round here could give you more info

Just chuck another in, as long as the whole set matches you'll be fine, so either 4 Bosch or 4 Lucas, either will do

Don't put Lucas injectors on a Bosch pump as they have lower break points and will inject too early iirc

They sound alot better on bosch ones. The lucas ones tend to sound rattly i thought :/
Doesnt even own a 306.

Its just a Peugeot diesel sound...can't hear my own turbo whistle over the rattly injectors on the HDi!

Are you sure they are 175?
My boach say 218 in big writing,
And either 175 or 173bar in small :/ ..i cant tell exactly
Guy at gsf said "the 2nd injector has a sensor"
Is this true?

Yours won't have the sensor on the injector, that's only for semi ecu pumps which are mainly found on the 406.

I've got a set in the shed with one snapped in exactly the same way ,well the leak off part
and yeah they'll be 175bar and no they won't have any eletrics on them at all

Bad news, nad injectors are lower break pressures, ~135 I think. You could strip the injector down and shim the spring, but you'd need an injector tester to set it to the right pressure.

just use the old injector spring and make one out of the two
