how do i re spoil the window cable?

ok so i’ve had a massive f*cking nightmare with my passenger side electric window.

basically the cable has come loose and unspooled. 

How would i go about reattaching the cable to the spool and then tightening it up? 
I’ve tried for a couple hours and can’t manage it, you have to go one way to tighten the top cable but that loosened the other one and vice versa. 
is there some miracle method i don’t know of?
