Does anyone change and balance tyres themselves? What do you use?
I'm looking at the manual equipment you can buy new from £30 on eBay, just wondering if its easy enough to use or if its too much hassle?
Cheers, Ben

I've done it, wouldn't recommend it on nice wheels but its fine on steels or wheels you don't care about, bit of practice and some coated bars and you'll not mark them anyway.
I don't have any way to balance them but if your wheels are round and you get decent tyres you'll often be lucky and not notice any vibrations, though a friend does have a mate with a balancer and tyre machine we can use if he's not too busy.
