Watched this over the weekend and pretty much agree with everything. Was good but I struggled to get on with the studio bits, seemed a bit forced.
Very much looking forward to the rest of the series though, I reckon it'll flow a lot better as it goes on.

watched it a second time. Could bear so switched off towards the end. topgear felt short at an hour... this feels long as an hour and ten. Hopefully it will be less forced and scripted as time goes on.

episode 2 was pants in my opinion, totally unimpressed. Shame as opening episode to the season was tremendous.

Yeah I didn't think it was amazing. Got a little bored and contemplated turning it off. Hopefully it will get better.

I'm watching it now, but obviously I'm on the Internet as well, so, a bit bored by it.
They never were comedians so why try.

Well having just watched ep2 I'm gonna stick my neck out and say I preferred it. I think it felt like it was trying less hard, genuinely funny in places.

Really enjoyed the Vulcan bit, studio bits seemed less tense, although the celeb bit isn't great. Still can't get my head around The American, don't get it or find it funny. Didn't enjoy the Jordan stuff much either. First couple of times it was funny, repeated 50 times it got boring IMO.

They are obviously gonna keep the celeb bit as a very un subtle dig at the BBC.
BBC Rules say you aren't allowed to pretend to kill or actually kill a celebrity on TV.

I still found E3 dragged. I thought i was over an hour in but turned out to be 43mins. It just played on hammond being a dick in a hellcat over and over and over again. Pretty boring and they didnt really do anything. The ending was so crap. No american or track in this one, House blowing up was just really silly. Im going to say it now. I prefer topgear.

Guess the ultimate question IMO - Is anyone regretting paying for Amazon Prime purely so they could watch this?
(I haven't watched E3 yet, so not casting judgement, just curious.)

Yeah thought episode 4 was pretty good. Liked the little dig at Chris Evans and Top Gear.
