I am currently looking at replacing the fuel lines in the engine bay, from the fuel rail too the plastic fuel lines at the iner wing
i am looking at going to AN6 fittings welded to the fuel rail,
8mm braided lines,
do i use teflon or rubber tube ?
now im stuck at what to fit to the plastic lines
do the AN6 Barb fittings push into the plastic lines at the bulkhead after you remove the white/green plastic elbows?

use teflon and matching fittings, rubber these days doesn't last, there may be some fittings that will clip into the plastic lines, or use some specific fittings for the plastic line.
one thing ive found is that Peugeot dont use standard sizes, I replaced the steel lines on the zx with 8mm copper and used a pair of compression to AN adapters.

rubber will be fine unless you plan to reroute through the car, rubber lines have different fittings to the ptfe etc.
Im not sure how the plastic lines are designed you may struggle joining to them, shame there not a hardline as there are hardline convertors which ive used.

yes i understand the rubber and Teflon use their own type of fittings they will be matched to the pipe type
like i say im struggling to fit to the plastic pipe, i was hoping to do away with the plastic hose tail and go to the an6
but it looks like i need to go to a worm clip to secure on to the platic tail at the inerwing

the only reason im looking into it, is i have recently had a perished joint at the injector rail
and realised there are 10 joints between the supply pipe and the return pipe
i was hoping to reduce the number of joints for possible failiure
