Purple tints are illegal on the foglights but probably not so blatantly that you'll get stopped, and most definitely illegal on your headlights.

I have this tint on my light protectors. I didn't find it too bad myself with hids. It's only a very thin film

Yea I've driven with it tonight in pitch black and it's not too bad just a bit pink on the outsides haha
This film is cheap stuff from China and is quite thick
