So the time has come to replace some tyres on my car and as such i always look into new wheels all the time its inevitable. Looking at steel wheel replacements that suite an estate and can clear my gti6 brake setup. Options avaliable? 15\16 inch price. Availability etc would be nice to include as well. Will also be looking into a spare set of wheels for a bit of track time next year untill i can get my project up and running.

406 executive 16" steels, straight fit, no spacers as they are ET20 7j
You'll never find a set in this country but they were less than £50 brand new from peugeot when I bought mine.

If you are after tyres mate, you can get michy PS3's for £49 a corner from blackcircles delivered.. they are in 50 profile tho but i have been running them for ages and they have lasted nearly 16000+ miles of my driving and only now am i needing a new set of fronts..
and beleive me my driving is not sympathetic to the fronts at all..

That's my old estate on 15's (at least on the front, the rear may or may not be the 14" spare as I killed the nsf tyre being a hooligan)

C5 steelies are probably best, not actually steel but the correct offset etc, and look the biz.. like OEM spares,
HDi spare wheels are 15inch, get 4 of them

Know anyone that would use a set of 17" Wolfrace Spyders?

You have to make sure the 306 steels are from later cars. The earlier ones have an extra thick washer style lump for flat seat bolts. Later ones use semi tapered cyclone bolts so no need for flat seats on steels.
I sold a set of 4 306 steels once, not realising one was an earlier one, fail.
Also, those Wolfrace Spyders are bloody awful, I guarantee no-one on here wants them lol.

Been looking through servicebox during the morning, there does not seem to exist a 16" 7j et20 steel rim, all et20 I found are 6,5j. What I did find was a 16x7 et32 rim from the 3008 that would fit with a ~13mm spacer.

5401 R7 Hi Janne, Does service box cover Citreon wheels too?
I've been wondering about the 3008 wheels! The 4 stud 18" alloys look great on the 3008 but would they fit on a 306 with some rubber bands for tires?

I've been wondering about the 3008 wheels! The 4 stud 18" alloys look great on the 3008 but would they fit on a 306 with some rubber bands for tires? Not straight on, you'd need spacers since I suspect they'll contact the strut, and you also have to widen the arches. If you space them out to about et10 they'll be 10mm closer to the strut than the stock wheel and poke out almost 30mm more!
Also you'd need a 215/30-18 or 225/30-18 tire, and I have no idea if that's available.
Edit: found 205/35-18 tires online. Would probably look silly on a 7,5" rim though.

The berlingo ones have a few large holes and the 406 ones have alot of smaller holes which I think look better so on that basis the 406 ones.
