So any places to get them for a reasonable price or is it going to be a case of me stripping my other spare block for a set. im assuming a second hand set would suffice if no marks. not ideal i know but sometimes budgets only stretch so far.

find your local engine remanufacturers, our local one here is very good at supplying good quality bearings, xu/xud ones are about £30 a set, check the o.e prices, might be quite cheap anyway.
if you want it to last dont chuck old ones in.

Cant find them under £90 just for big end bearings! Even searching with oe number

Yeah these are expensive sputter bearings. I'd be tempted to use second hand set if they look in good condition and you're on a tight budget.
