Anyone with autodata or vauxhall knowledge help me?

Basically my dad has a 55plate vauxhall astra 1.7cdti 100bhp model and its sounding a bit rough, it sounded like this before and it was fine after an oil change buuuut 8000miles later its back soo need to know what oil to put into it? Last time it had turbo diesel castrol but not specific vaux stuff

Pop to your nearest vauxhall dealer. They will give u the correct oil and its usually the best price aswell

autodata says 5w/30 synthetic
also says 5l of it

Just looked on opie oils and they recommend 5w40 fully synth lol but they do mobil oil and filter for 36quid... might have to get that
