Last owner for 9 years, sod all mileage in that time, not had a cambelt for 9 years, magnex catback.... Sounds like mine with higher mileage and different phase. Confused. Fairly local as well lol.

Ph1 shells tend to rust in more places than ph3, as well as paint being different shades etc.

I think on the gti6s they fit rear arch liners as standard though, so you don't get the rear seatbelts anchored to thin air issue as easily as without. Lower trim level ph.1s didn't all come with them, hence creating an almost ideal environment up in the C-pillar for corrosion to spread.

Yet it's a beut Smile 

Quietest engine if've ever had,hopefully it will take 1 more year of abuse then I think I'll do the honourable thing and rebuild it.
