Bosch or Varta Make
Can't help you on model, biggest one you can fit in the battery tray

You can bend the battery tray to fit an even bigger one lol...
I've got a Bosch silver (S5) that I bought in 2012 with 5 year warranty. Used it on about 6 306s and it's still perfect now. If you use ECP and put in your reg it'll show which batteries are right for you. Had 2 cheap batteries that came off breakers in the garage for about 6 months, neither will charge now so only good for scrap! So imo stick to a decent brand with a warranty...

I want the biggest one really, I put my reg in on ecp and it comes up with a few, what does the 012 and 027 mean?
012 and 027 are size codes, theyre the ones that will fit in the 306 battery box.
Why does the size matter? Unless you've got a bangin' sound system that you'll use with the engine off in maccy's car park? I've never had a flat battery since buying the Bosch one, and that's just standard size. Has decent spec though. This is the one I have, but was on a better offer when I bought it tbf!! http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Peugeo...741&000020

I've historically had nothing but problems with Bosch Silver batteries - had three new ones fail in less than a year and then a ~3 year old one on my last 306 a couple of months after I bought it. Never had issues with any other batteries, even cheap no-names brands, only Bosch - go figure.
Personally, I'd just get whatever has a decent warranty for a good price from a local supplier in 065 or 075 size and it'll be fine.

That's probably beyond your requirements tbf - ' Bosch S6 AGM Gel Car batteries are factory fitted to the Rolls Roye Phantom, Bentley Continental GT, Porsche Cayenne and many other luxury vehicles.' And yes they did make that spelling error in the listing. I even persuaded my Dad to buy one (just an S3 as he's tight lol) after killing two cheap batteries on his 1 miles commute in winter lol and its still good 2 years later.
