Got my injectors out yesterday to re-seal them and only noticed the copper washer, no fire seal from what I can see and no plastic sleeve. Lines have been on for 35-40,000 miles and had no issues until this week where they started spitting around the seal.
Should I just replace the copper washer or would there be issues?

Don't recall there being a plastic sleeve needed??? Are you sure the fire seal isn't stuck to the head with carbon? If not I'd fit some when you do the copper washers.

Ok mate just going by the Haynes Manual, I'm thinking the fire seal is stuck to the block. I take it they are smaller and sit below the copper washer? Cheers

Do the fire seals compress between the injector nozzle and the head?
