I have had a long day today. That probably doesn't interest many/any of you, however I shall tell you nonetheless.

It begins with a trip up to Dan! in Norwich to do some pump mods..

Arriving bright and early at 10am:

We get cracking on with dismantling my Bosch pump:

The most useful tool for any 306 owner:

My new cradle.... WHO can spot the difference??

Then some jiggery pokery with the governor:

With the gov mod all done we tinkered about with a few other settings, and at half noon I left Dan! to enjoy the rest of his day Smile

However, my day was not done there. I then drove 170 miles to Niall's house for some carbon!!

All done Smile

Yeah the wraps are a bit like marmite, I got the material cheap though so thought I may as well see what it looks like Smile

The car is running great, Dan and myself managed to get the tuning almost spot on. It's getting close now to running at its peak.

Next plan is to stick the bigger blower on Smile

I did ask Dan at the end, "So, does my engine have any last fail safes to stop it overrevving and destroying itself?"

Dan helpfully said "No, we just removed the last one".. Popcorn

Yeah, I think that was the first time we met Smile..

I was wondering on the way home if the Laguna start would work on an XUD due to the glow plug relay. May have to do some tinkering 8-)
