Wanted: SUMP HELiCOIL

Hi all...

its service time and I just remembered how buggered the sump plug thread is in the 2.1s sump.

it holds, but not sure it will take another in/out.

I'm struggling to find another sump...so has anyone got a little helicoil kit for the sump plug?? I dont fancy forking out on a £50 helicoil universal kit for one sump bolt

Have a look on ebay, you can get a kit with a new tap and sump plug to suit, had to do it on dad's astra before

jus pop in ur local engineering workshop.. im sure they could hook you up for pence..

I dont have such workshops round here...
And ebay I cant find anything to suit other than a full kit as mentioned

Piggy look at eBay, pretty sure it was under £10

Ebay and search for the tread size helicoil kit. Will be alot cheaper than one branded for doing sumps. Theyre about £10 as said.
