The dual carriage way is pretty much all national speed limit it's just like little stretch where's the camera is which is 50mph. Drove past that same camera earlier on driving way slower than usual lol

Until the letter drops onto your doormat, I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it - a surprisingly high percentage of GATSO's don't even have any film in them assuming it was one of those that you were flashed by.

At that speed unless you was lower 60's it'll be 3 points and £100. It's 14 days to get through to you but they normally like to get them out the same day/next day so if nothing by the end of the week you might be lucky.

plus there are speed cameras that don't have film in, but still flash, they record how fast + how many people speed through a certain area.
In the north east only 12 out of 34 speed cameras are active, but they switch around every so often. I got caught doing 37 in a 30 in the work van, and got offered the speed awareness course. And FYI all speedo's are out by 2mph at least, even new cars + vans. My van is limited to 70, but does 74mph on the speedo. |
