Here we have for sale my Peugeot 306 HDI Stage 1 in China Blue.
Has a good service history with all of my bills over the last 18months, and numerous stamps in the book from the previous owner. Selling due to buying a Leon Cupra.
China Blue in colour with 15” Cyclones (would benefit from a refurb) with good tyres. Has a genuine GTI6 front lip.
Additional:
96,500 miles on the clock
MOT til April ‘14
Tax til end of July ‘14
Toad Cat 1 alarm
Lowered
EGR Deleted
Stage 1 Remap from Pro Steve
Half leather interior
Sony CD/MP3 Player
Bosch Aeroflat Wipers & Mist Washer jets
The car is used so has the odd mark/stone chips – don’t expect it to be mint. The fuel filter housing emits a whine – this isn’t noticeable once the engines started. It doesn’t affect anything and it’s never bothered me. It’s been like that since I bought the car 18 months ago.
Looking for £900. Based in East Yorkshire, please PM me with any questions.

If it's still for sale, I could be sorely tempted...

Depressing how little these are worth now, mine has probably halved in value in the less than 5 years I've owned it!

I don't think 'losing' a grand in 5 years is bad at all for a car!

Well, I don't know exactly what you paid. I seem to remember paying about £1750 for a Y reg 1.4 Meridian 4 years ago so assumed yours was more, being a superior engine lol.
But yeah I'm not saying it isn't a lot of money...just meant that all cars will depreciate (until they become classics) and comparatively it's really not bad.

I got a wee bargain, paid the same for mine, low miles at the time, too. Guess it's probably worth a little more than this one as it's a y-reg too, so maybe my investment hasn't been quite so grim. And yeah, I've got a mate who just got rid of his 59 plate Ibiza having bought it on finance and owned it for 3 years...dread to think how much money he burnt on that lol.
