It will just got to keep at it, if it's started moving it will keep moving more whacks needed

I found a lump hammer works better get a better swing behind it

When i did it on the axle im rebuilding only took 30mins with the clarke strong arm, ask around see if any of your mates have got one defo helps out putting lots of pressure on why your whacking.

If you carnt get one of them just alot of wacking is the only option with heat and i find plus gas is better than wd40 Smile

like the look of that strong arm!

Last one I did made three attempts while on the car before dropping the beam and smacking on the floor with a sledgehammer that broke, and then going again with a bigger sledge.

Still only managed to remove one end of the torsion bars.

Which side you hitting? Generally drivers side is easier. You have removed the torx screws and arb? Try dabbing break fluid to the joints it penetrates well

Make a puller to put some pressure on the other end of the torsion bar and then smack it from the other side.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
