Twin H7s to a single H4

I have a ph3 HDi with the two H7 bulbs, one for dipped and one for the main beam. Not going to throw the 'optic' words around as I'm not entirely sure what they mean and don't want to show myself up lol!

Could I fit a control stalk from a phase 2 and modify the wiring plugs behind the headlight to convert my car 'backwards', from dual H7s to a single hi/lo H4 setup?

buy a set of single optic phase2s...

in fact puglove has a set for sale with clear lenses and they been all painted up

I have a pair of morettes that I got off Teddy which have H4 bulbs in mate thats why I'm making them worse

Don't want to mess about changing the bulb holders, putting the inner lenses/light holders back in etc (I'd need to buy some anyway) so it's probably easier to change it to single optics

Dont change the stalk.
keep it and it will keep the dipped on with the main.
I modded my ph1 single optics to do so and it helps

So I just need to swap the plugs for a H4 bulb? Or the whole loom?

Either way not having to change the stalks is good!

The only socket on the back of the morettes is the leveling motor. No actual wiring, only a hole for a sidelight, the H4 bulb for the dipped/main beam and the inner lenses have been taken out

Guessing I'll need to gut my (damaged -.-) crystals to get the female plug/wiring out or can I buy this seperately?
