Alright all
...I've been offered a Merc Sprinter van off a work colleague fairly cheap so I may be selling up what has been a wicked workhorse since I had the Clutch replaced at 127k and PAS pump replaced at 124k. Purpose of this thread is to see how much she's worth and who's interested in her as i've spent a fair bit on her so I want the next owner to look after her!
Spec:
306 XTDT In Genesis Blue, bought with 123k in 27/07/2013
E/W all round with one touch lowering on drivers side
Remote central locking (radio remote unit fitted, Not crap infra red one)
Clutch replaced at 127k by Cranbrook Carriages Ltd in October Last year at a cost of £320 (Valeo one fitted)
PAS Pump replaced with New item at 124082 miles again by Cranbrook Carriages ltd at a cost of £180
Cambelt, Waterpump, all tensioners & Thermostat & Cooling system flush by KrisB @ 123613 Miles
Recent Aux belt by KrisB, tensioners replaced by him late last year
Recent rear Beam replacement from a newer 306 with bigger drums as original beam had play. Whilst beam was fitted the handbrake cable was replace by KrisB as well.
Brake discs and pads done in August last year
Oil service every 6k with Valvoline All Seasons or Valvoline DuraBlend 10W40 oil
Air filter also changed same time as oil filter
Lowered by KrisB, 20mm springs at the front and same at the back on the torsion bar, sits nice and level with my sub in the back, otherwise its like 5mm higher at the back so there's some leeway and no rubbing if you carry stuff or have a car full of people![Smile Smile](https://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/images/smilies/smile.png)
Recent new battery (Jan 13)
Recent Fuel Filter (April 13)
New driver's side hub inc bearing (August 12)
Mot til end July 18th
Tax til End of September
2 sets of keys both with radio remote fob
Riding on steels at the moment with plenty of grip all round, kumho's at the front and decent budgets at the back
I've spent a Lot on this car to bring it to a decent standard as I do motorway miles in it so I can't afford for it to screw up at 70mph. I'm not expecting to get much of that back but I have peace of mind that i drive a now reliable car and the new owner will not have problems.
As with any car, Bad bits:
Some paint chips etc age related, and some slight bubbling but that has been cleaned painted and lacuered with peugeot genesis blue touch up paint kit.
Slight tear in driver's seat lumber support, will try and sew up in next few days
Passenger rear electric window motor packed up a few months ago, never bothered me tbh but its not an expensive fix.
...so, would it be a lot to ask for around the £550...?
Will add pics in a bit once I get my laptop off my sister as i've posted this from my mobile.
