Are all the springs the same just different load ratings i.e, from 1.4petrol being low rating and 1.9-2L diesel high load rating.
I have a 1.9 dturbo and been offered some 40mm lowering springs but not sure if there off a petrol if they are would they fit but sit lower about 50mm-60mm instead of 40

The gti6 lump is heavier than the 1.9xud lump thats all i really know. Not sure on the hdi and the xsi engines :/
Doesnt even own a 306.

Gti and xsi are fairly similar weights iirc, as are hdi and xud, 1.4 and 1.6

If you got like 40mm 1.4 springs and put them on a gti you'd be more on 60mm drop? with bad handling due to the spring rates or something

Yeah like tom says dont put gti6 springs on a 1.4 i doubt youd get hardly any.drop due to weight.
As for the OP trust my dont put TU springs under an XU scary shit!! Fucks the handling lol
