Literally bang on 100k miles when I removed it, pulled well to be fair (faster than Foobys trolol), sounded sweet, DEFINITELY needs a new clutch. Coil packs are OK - one has a bit of a miss on a cold, damp morning - but quickly clears up - if you're like Edenoids - you'll want to replace it... If you're like me, you couldn't give a shit!
Cambelt has another 10-20k or so left on it, but seeing as it's in bits, you may as well replace it, you'd be mad not to!
Missing:
Wiring loom
One of the Coolant Temp Sensors (same across all GTIs though)
Upper rad hose - I had to chop it
In pieces -
Auxilary belt system - I've definitely got all the bits somewhere, just needs putting back together.
I'd be after around £150 if you come and pick it up, I'm sure I've got other 306 bits I can throw in with it if you want them... I hoard 306 parts. If you barter me down, I'll have the exhaust manifold off it as I could quite happily chop it up for my own uses, but if it's worth the money, I'll leave it on. I'd say it's worth £150 every day as it's a sweet engine, and it's a GTi - so I can stick £50 over what it's probably worth for some GTi tax...
I've also got a GTi6 exhaust also with a scorpion backbox on it and a emptied cat if anyone wants it, raspy as f*ck, pops and bangs well, but not boomy at all, probably the least boomy GTi6 pipe I've heard to be honest, but as said, quite raspy.
