nah i think the wheels would look good white on it. going to see the car tomorrow so i will see what i think. could be absolutely epic, but i kinda love my current 306 too as i was getting there with it finally

going to see it tomorrow, only thing puts me off is the reliability of the xud vs the hdi if I tune it, but maybe im just making that up in myy head lol

someone fancy giving me a quick rundown on what to look for specifically on the xud? i know the obvious stuff such as leaks etc but how should it idle and sound etc as its obviously very different to an hdi

major oil leaks from the back of the block (indicates turbo on its last legs) temperature should stay at 83-85 degrees, check for white or blue smoke, check for signs of orange engine bay, start it from cold if possible to see how easy it is to get going. a well looked after engine will fire up first time.

a well looked after engine should sound relatively smooth im guessing, in its own way haha. what about clutch? cause again very different to the hdi

yeah, make sure it idles smooth and not really lumpy/coughing smoke when cold, check clutch biting point isnt too high or low, check for clutch slip at full boost in 3rd and 4th gear

I went to see the car, absolute mint box, engine seemed dry even down the back, never got to here it running though as the seller was out and had the keys lol
