Just wanted to follow this up i took fpr out and removed the seals gave it good soak in acetone and the idling problem is a little better that it was but is still there. My next question is when i too...

The car is mapped but its been mapped for nearly 2 years ive not done anywork recently either I haven't had it plugged in either tbh. Is it more or less a definite no on the fpr? I cant understand why...

Hope someone can shed some light on my high idle issue my car idles between 950 to 1100 most of the time but if your driving down the road and i depress the clutch and take my foot of the revs the car...

Yes replaced that about 6 months ago it only leaking in back corner im 90 percen sure it the cam carrier but a spose it worth a check

Has anyone had experience with leaking camshaft carrier on hdi. Can seem to find a gasket or is it rtv / silicon sealant thanks

But if they were coded then it wouldnt run would it? cant see how injectors would make a differance myself.

Wondering if any one could shed some light on my situation. Had car mapped about a month ago all has been good car pulled well through all gears but i had very rattly injectors so ive changed them yes...

Just watched a video on another thread and its the same noise only mine is a bit worse would 2 stoke accltually help the noise or would having althem refurbed cure it

Its quiet load i can cope with diesel knock but its a really fast rattle when under load it does not do it when just reved

Sweet cheers lads think im just going to go solid pulley if the auto tensioner isnt naked i can cope with changing belt evrey year or so

I locked the the auto tensioner off and tuick slack up with the manual tensioner then released the auto tensioner you can see the auto tensioner bouncing a bit when you rev it but i am nearly posotive...
