pug stealers charge you about 30/40 a piece, much cheaper :-) you will probably want a d-seal too for the IC if you are taking that off... which is only a couple of quid too

Right, gonna take the gti alloys off to sell and either scrap it or sell it for the best offer over £150 (as thats scrap value!) I completely forgot that its got a bit of a dent in the passenger lowe...

I have no idea what its worth... Lets say £450 ono...? It still runs and drives fine, but I dont wanna risk driving it if the turbo seals have gone. I know I could sell the wheels for £100 at least ...

3 door, its gold/blaze yellow. a few scratches here and there but no real "damage". its always been a good runner. no rust or anything that I have seen. it has no wheel arch liners because of lowering...

Thanks for the advice guys. It was a fair amount of oil. I dont really have the knowhow or tools etc to change the turbo myself so going to sell it on if someone wants a project or if someone has the...

I was just re fitting my boost gauge after changing its location, i pulled the hose off the IC to tap into with my t-piece and out came a load of oil.... if I squeeze it lots and lots of black oil ...

according to the ebay ads the bilstien b4s are 20% better than gti shocks. not sure how accurate that is or how they measure it but I guess they are saying they are significantly better lol [hr] are t...

couple of hundred tops. It takes a good battering up some country tracks, which is bouncy as hell at times... i guess maybe its best to keep going on the standard shocks until the give in and replace ...
