| 401144 is not the right part number for a 306 with a 6 speed box. It probably fits a 205/309 and 306 models without the 6 speed box but it IS NOT the right part for a GTi6/Rallye because it won't have... |

| Unfortunately, it is likely to be the beam failing I'd imagine. How many miles does the car have?
Bear in mind most 306's are around 20 years old now (give or take).
