| Cheers for the input, its a standard height d turbo, will hopefully lower it soon, 50's it is as they are cheaper anyway, only asked as ther wheels had 45's on when I got them |

Just got a set of 205 Gti wheels for my d turbo, what size tyres shall I go for?
Options are 195/50/15 or 195/45/15?
Any pics or views on what you have on yours would be good.

| Got a lucas on mine, had to drain the pump 4 times to adjust it to go well and not smoke, it does take time to set up, but once ya done it you'll be well chuffed with the extra power! and still return... |

| I had the same wheels on my last 306, I used 16mm hubcentric spacers all round with 205/40 tyres, and obviously longer bolts,
you put it in the wrong section btw |

I want to replace the balljoints and track rod ends on my d turbo, am I right in thinking a phase 1 should have 16mm balljoints?

| I adjusted max fuel on my lucas pump (still has more to go) and adjusted the actuator 3 turns tighter and it sits on 26psi and flies compared to standard |

| Hi all,
Fitted a boost gauge on my D turbo earlier, when I cut the boost compensator pipe it was full of oil, im guessing this is new turbo time?

Got a P reg ph1 D turbo running a lucas pump, am I right in thinking it will have a k14 turbo? and the t2 turbo's come with bosch pump'd engines?
Also is 20psi max boost on a k14?

developed a problem on my d turbo, the temp gauge reads red hot and the light on when the ignition is on and when the engine is running it doesn't work atall?
I believe it could be a ear... |

| done cambelt kit, made sure there was no boost leaks, gave the pump a tweak and it goes a lot better now,
also ditched the standard air box but not sure if I can put up with the extra noise lol |
