Near side, that'll be the left. I've had my estate since '03 and it has never had a rear left liner in it. One previous careful owner, garage maintained. I am fairly certain they never had them fit...

I did a clutch change on mine some years ago, sensor never worked since. Possibly five years now without a rev counter. Perhaps I'm too idle to be bothered by it.

I use two 8mm screws in the pulley hols and a bit of bar acroass the shaft, put the nut on the thread so as not to damage it.

That is a long time for an NGK. I'm sick of having to change them, got it down to 20 minutes for the set now.

Fit NGK plugs in future. They're so crap, they fail every other month so never get chance to rust in.

I have two 1.9tds in my field, bloke who owns them also has a 406 td (in my field). 406 needs pump seal doing as it leaks, not sure of the 306s. open to offers, I suppose.

Why not simply remove the wire that feeds the glowplug warning light from the block connector and fit it to the terminal for the feed to the plugs?

I suppose there is enough space to lay flat in, if you're not over 6 feet tall. I have a piece of ply board for use as a floor, should anyone want it. I'm a tad busy with my next 'mad cap' project ...

I made the 306 estate trailer but have only used it once. Hand brake works. All the lights work, all you need is your number plate. Open to offers around £150 . . . ;)

Well that worked! I've taken the axle off my 306 trailer and stuck it on the car. Handles like a dream now. No creaking or weaving about. The trailer will have a creaking axle tomorrow.

I have two here, both different. One of them the inlet (low pressure) pipe bends away from the pulley, the other has a straight pipe about two inches long. What diameter pulley have you?
