I did mine last week, rung the first one then used a long nose vice grip to break the rest and then use your 11mm spanner.

Its not the original beam in the dturbo, it was dead when the last guy bought the car so he replaced it.

I have a dw8 with a Bosch pump , but that doesn't look anything like it. I have a plastic manifold with egr on the side, fuel filter is different also. Think the dw8 was 99 onwards.
