Clunck noise can also be badly fitted or broken exhaust. Was the case with our 206.

Update: The rev counter started working again. No idea what caused it to be functional again, but I am happy :) What is also interesting is that the oil presure gauge is also working well now......

Our convertible with 1.8 16v has the same characteristics. Think it is fine and nothing to worrie about.

Yes. All wings are the same... including the convertible ones. Only difference between phase 1 and phase 2/3 (larger hole where indicator is located).

I have one from a 2.0 8v which should fit a 2.0 16v as well, according to ServiceBox. The GTI6 one has a different shape and does not fit the 2.0 16v XSI.

Yes. Looking back I think I was ver y lucky the bolts did not snap! Now the car drove >400km without any issue.
