Any one own/owned one of the 2 306's on this? the Diablo's plate seem familier?

yeah, but some of his practices i dont agree with, one being buzz gunning up wheel nuts, that springs to mind
the premise of the show is fixing a car up to make profit, the biggest 'profit' they ever made was only a few grand, and they had to spend a shitload to get that! most of the time its only a few hundred, but that's all they tell you about. rememebr that episode where they had a 911 and needed a new gearbox for it? they went to a place in kent for it, porsche specialist. my old housemate's dad owns that. they said they paid £2000 for the gearbox, plus trading in their old one. it wasn't, it was £2500, which was their entire profit gone on that car.
also, that scooby they ruined with the autographed racing stripes? bellends.
i think the most annoying bit is how they try and dumb down how stuff works so the average viewer can understand it. but they dumb it down so much, that they actually make it wrong.
rant over, i watch the show, but it makes me so angry!

yeah exactly, spose i hate it cuz i think about all the hidden costs they dont talk about, and know they spends hundreds of pounds on things you can get for a fraction of what they pay.
other than the show being a complete farce (i was really shocked when they went to the states and included mike's travel in the budget), mike is still a bellend, anything i've seen him on on the telly just annoys me lol

But yes your right it is a farce, but if you can get past it and just take it for what it is it is an ok program, better than alot of other shite thats on tv.
But with the whole USA thing, i dont think those cost are any where near correct,
They made a reall tidy job of the mustang though, you have to give them that
I think they need to do away with the whole cost/profit/resale thing, and make it about restoring / making cars better, a show to show what you could do instead

that they did, i was impressed with the mustang, and the charger, both very well done. i doubt they took his transport cost while he there, or accommodation into account, but ho hum.

I like the show, and I find Ed China entertaining. Agreed, Mike is an annoying little man though...
Yeah they do dumb things down that's for sure, but I imagine it does make it more accessible. The amount of times they don't even make a profit is ridiculous. At least they do everything properly though, with the exception of stoopid ones like the Scooby.

Im not a fan of the programme but its watchable.
Unlike that channel 5 one with 'Bernie' in it...I can usually tolerate most people on TV...........but he is a such a stupid lady garden its unreal!
