timing problem - robert gangnan sharp - 06-01-2013 hi am new to this site and ive got myself a 306 Dturbo ph1 year 95 . thought it was looking good due to good age/milage, had some dents/scrathes nothing bad ![]() ![]() sorry if this has been asked before but couldnt find fcuk all :/ RE: timing problem - Ruan - 07-01-2013 Probably timing... What timing holes are you trying to use? If you're saying you put the timing belt on in the same position as you did before, but without locking the flywheel, I'll put money on you having not gotten it correct... RE: timing problem - robert gangnan sharp - 07-01-2013 well i used the 8mm bolts ( 1 on the cam locking at 4 o clock and 2 on the fuel pump 1 at 12? and the othe at 5 o clock) ![]() RE: timing problem - Poodle - 07-01-2013 The cam/pump lock twice for every time the flywheel locks once, did you turn the engine over by hand a couple of times to make sure you'd got the right position?
