pump seal kit - Piggy - 05-01-2013

I have bought a built hybrid 11mm modded pump but as with the rest of the build I want to know every mm of it and know its just so.

so despite it coming from a running motor, it looks a bit shabby, so want to take it apart to ensure all is well and why not eh....

so anyone recommend a good pump seal kit?? few on ebay...has anyone got experience of them etc...

thanks

Piggy

I can see this is not going anywhere

yell.com and search for diesel mechanics/engineers around your area and they could get you one. Alternatively, we use Nationwide diesels, Darwen Diesels and A.P Diesels at my work and they all supply seal kits to us.

Ebay ones are fine.

Most of the guys selling on ebay sell bosch kits anyway, ive had a few from there before and all the ones ive got have turned up in bosch bags / bosche bits so its all good Smile

The seal kit that I have always used from eBay is genuine Bosch

ah thats cool...anyone got a link to the ebay one you have used? just as there are quite a few...be a shame to have issues after all the work on a cheap nasty seal going wrong!

You'll prob still need an input shaft seal, kits i've bought off ebay don't come with one. Local diesel specialist tend to be pretty good for seal kits and bits n bobs, plus you don't have to wait for delivery Wink
