Shot blasting - Niall - 03-01-2013

Guys
Thought i would offer this to you guys as it could be useful for some things.
Soon im going to have the kit to be able to shot blast small things such as cam covers, inlet manifolds, brackets and other bits you want cleaned up for painting or even just restoring to the original factory finish.
Not really after making any money out of this but what i will ask is you make a donation to the forum. This wont really cost me anything to do other than the grit which is cheap enough anyway but i think we all forget at times that Scott and Adam pay for this forum out of their own pockets.
So yeah, if anyone wants any bits doing, PM me and ill see what i can do Smile

RE: Shot blasting - Piggy - 04-01-2013

RE: Shot blasting - Niall - 04-01-2013

North Surrey but as I said, I can only really do small bits so you can easily post them to me and I'll post back when done.

RE: Shot blasting - Dangti6 - 04-01-2013

Keen to hear your feedback on the kit when you get it. I use the father in laws semi industrial blast pot and compressor. It takes bloody ages to do even small bits.

What media are you going to use?

RE: Shot blasting - Piggy - 04-01-2013

be good to see some examples then may send you couple bits with beer tokens

Dependant on what im blasting tbh but your right they can be slow. Ive used them before and obviously its no where near as quick as a pro but quite an effective way of tidying metal bits up
