Kiwi ZX Volcane - softlad - 28-12-2012 To start the project thread I have started to strip the engine to replace the head gasket and also started to source parts for the rebuild. Parts so far- Xantia inlet manifold front mounted intercooler steering column boost gauge set of mag wheels to replace originals T25 & TD04 turbos This leads me to my first question, I have sourced 2 turbos a Garrett T25 & a TD04(with anti-lag fins) Which turbo give the better results and is the easier to fit in place? RE: Kiwi ZX Volcane - Mattcheese31 - 28-12-2012 td04 will be less laggy and probs more power from what i've heard so i'd go for that . . ![]() RE: Kiwi ZX Volcane - silverzx - 29-12-2012 T25 is more of a 'bolt on' fitment though (no custom plates or oil lines needed). And if you like the spike off boost on a T2 then you'll love it on a T25. ![]() |
