Pugloves sigma phase-win - puglove - 24-12-2012 Soo as most of you know now my ph2 DT has meet its untimly death, so it will now be donating to the new sigma DT, so its a sigma phase win Purchase run down: Purchased with 4 months T&T 140k suspected matrix leak Beam shagged but the guy didnt know this interior covered in paint Its been lowered ph3 skirts And assuming its had sports front & Rear bumpers, did 5 door ph1's ever come spec'd with these bumpers???? coded spoiler £350 bargin plans: * Swap out the xud lump for my 82k lump on the sub frame with my gti shocks,ARB, and 266mm's all still attached *Swap rear beam for my lowered 82k beam with gti ARB * Add my 38k torsion bars from my gti *Swap interior from my ph2 complete with dash (prob going to look for some 5 door cloth seats rather than leather) so if any fancy's a swap/P/X i'll consider it * Tidy exterior up to a OE spec * Fit straight through exhaust from my old DT, chop side exit off and make it a normal exit again * experement with wheels lazers/ black clones/ silver clones / challengers * New set of fogs covered wiith yellow film. ( If any knows of some universal/ non OE ones that fit that look a little better please let me knoe) * fit bosch to old lump and belt at the same time * maybe add a ph2 rad and my front mount in the future Thats about it for now should look quit nice OE ish NOTE how shagged the rear beam is in the pics below RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - Matt - 24-12-2012 Rear beam looks fine Some good plans mate hope it doesn't take to long to get it looking epic RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - puglove - 24-12-2012 (24-12-2012, 02:11 PM)Matt Wrote: Rear beam looks fine hoping to get alot of work done over xmas, the lump isnt a massive issue right now as the current one runs/drives ok just extreamly sluggish RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - Jonny81191 - 24-12-2012 Looking good mate! RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - Curt - 24-12-2012 Yes 5 doors did come with sport bumpers, genuine sport models... XSi and actual Dturbos, not just diesels that people still call Dturbos... as it's a trim level. Looking and sounding good though, although blatant theft of my "phase win" phrase RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - puglove - 25-12-2012 (24-12-2012, 04:27 PM)sam Wrote: Looks smart dude! Ahhhhhh but they did do Dturbos in a 5 dr in ph2 very few of them but they did do them maybe this on of them ultra rare ph1 5dr dturbo . Lol nah i think the seats are ph2 xsi spec. And me see no copyright on "phase-win" so its now mine RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - kingy - 25-12-2012 i think the lazers look the tits. got me thinking now, i was looking for clones for mine but might go back to lazers. mmmmm Pugloves sigma phase-win - Frosty - 25-12-2012 I'm usually not a massive fan of 5 doors but I think this looks sweet. Must be cuz it's sigma also I think lasers look good on ph1s RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - puglove - 25-12-2012 (25-12-2012, 10:16 AM)kingy Wrote: i think the lazers look the tits. got me thinking now, i was looking for clones for mine but might go back to lazers. mmmmm Yeah iv gotta say this does look pretty bad ass on lazers, im going to have a little play with clones and see how that looks, but a squarer front end + squarer wheels = win. But for the love of god please put clones oon your epic ph3. or even better keep your current wheels. lazers just dont suite the ph3 front end , (see pic below of my mrs xsi) (25-12-2012, 10:29 AM)Frosty Wrote: I'm usually not a massive fan of 5 doors but I think this looks sweet. And was an awesome colour match RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - kingy - 25-12-2012 B&q by any chance matt. RE: Pugloves sigma phase-win - puglove - 30-12-2012 So iv done a little work on this now 1st job was to wip the beam out of the sigma Then to wip the one piece exhaust off and the beam out of the 82k DT 82k beam with the gti6 bits in on the sigma I also put the shagged beam back in ph2 to make it easyer to move it around. Also noticed the heater matrix had been bypassed so it was defo dead , so out with the dash Matrix out, suprise suprise it holds water like a colander . Will go and get a new matrix tomorrow and put it back together Also , my ph2 is a ABS bias valve moddle, and the ph1 was a non ABS non Bias valve moddle had a bit of a pain swapping brake lines about to make the ph2 beam work without a bias valve Pugloves sigma phase-win - Frosty - 30-12-2012 Have you thought about putting the phase 2 dash in? My D turbo has had it done! |
