RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - CJ_Derv - 14-12-2012 Gold Plated RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - rd070707 - 26-07-2013 Just to revive this rather than start another thread, there is a gates kit on egay at 78 including waterpump, but apparently gates don't do a waterpump so its a Key/ firstline waterpump the seller says. Any use? If not what waterpump is recommended? RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - Poodle - 26-07-2013 Firstline stuff is mediocre in my experience, the engine mounts amd bushes ive had didnt last very long. Personally id go for dayco. RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - rd070707 - 26-07-2013 Thinking now to get a dayco kit. Which waterpump though or should I just get gen pug RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - Poodle - 26-07-2013 Can get a dayco kit that comes with a water pump. RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - tigerstyle - 26-07-2013 Genuine kit from Peugeot is £115 inc vat. Belt, pulley, water pump. Seems like a good deal to me. RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - Ricky - 26-07-2013 Got my genuine belt and tensioners for 48 posted, the genuine water pump was 40. Get the part numbers and search eBay. RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - rd070707 - 26-07-2013 Yeah rang pug today and waterpump is 40. looks like my best option tbh RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - ConorTRG - 26-07-2013 Contitech is another good brand of belt, most of them all use skf or ina bearings in there pulleys anyway, and QH is good for waterpumps if you come across them. The best cambelt/waterpump - mo55sey - 25-08-2013 I only fit gates belts at work, they are the best quality and oem for most manufactures. First line pumps are ok as long as there the ones with the brass impeller. RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - bigtone0777 - 25-08-2013 Personally I've always gone fir gates kits and used Quentin Hazel pumps but would go genuine pug if only 40 quid RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - Piggy - 25-08-2013 Gates. /endthread RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - cully - 26-08-2013 the Gates kit i fitted came with a water pump but it had a plastic impeller :S RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - Dum-Dum - 26-08-2013 Gen pug is cheap and will be perfect RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - rd070707 - 26-08-2013 I fitted a dayco kit and just bought the genuine waterpump from pug worked out 85 all in RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - Piggy - 26-08-2013 thats not bad price. dayco is what pug use I suppose RE: The best cambelt/waterpump - Bender - 26-08-2013 Get the pump from Peugeot or ones they use, any other is not worth the risk. |
