EU type approval number wanted pls - SIBON - 11-12-2012
Hi
Any owners of 306 2.0hdi diesel car or estate who has the EU type approval number, I would be ever so grateful if you would post the number which should begin

I need this number to get my 2000 estate registered in France.
If you have the number which may be on your log book V5 under K or through other means please would you state it plus what model and year it relates to.
Here is hoping someone has this info.....

This number is on all vehicles log books V5 after about 2004 and it relates to the specs on standard cars. If the vehicles specs do not change materially form one year to the next the number remains the same except for the lat two digits which relate to the year, I think.

umm last 306 was registered in 2003
mines a 2002
think there is a eu number relating to emisions control on it somewhere
maybe thats an ec number or something

its also known as the HOMOLOGATION number
they are available on the net if you know how to search
the bold type one is the estate

thanks for your reply cully. I finally managed to get it from Peugeot uk and it is
e2*93/81*0081*02 and the D2 Variant number is as per the first 5 numbers of your chassis/frame number. If this is of any use to anyone else.
