Ph1 and ph3 doors - Matt - 11-01-2012

Are the the same? Other than the rubstrips?

Re: Ph1 and ph3 doors - springs - 11-01-2012

No. The door card mounts are different but can be changed to fit

Re: Ph1 and ph3 doors - Connor - 11-01-2012

Rubstrips have the same holes, as springs said, only difference is how the door cars mount. Not that you can get moonstone in Ph1 whistle

My friend has ph1 sigma doors, with s16 door cards, which I planned on fitting to mine, but as I may have broke my drivers door today, just going to spray the ph1 doors and fit them lol

Re: Ph1 and ph3 doors - Ed Doe - 11-01-2012

1. how did you break the door?
2. arent the rubstrip indents taller as the ph1 trim is taller?

Re: Ph1 and ph3 doors - Connor - 11-01-2012

Yes the trim is very different, but the holes are the same (except the wings, see pics of my Ph1.3 to prove this...)

Re: Ph1 and ph3 doors - puglove - 11-01-2012

arn't the rub strips width different dependent on the model - i know between my 1.4 and dturbo they were different...

Re: Ph1 and ph3 doors - darrenjlobb - 11-01-2012

Door panels are identical regardless of rub strips, only change as said is the mounts, but 5 mins job to change with drill and rivots Smile

Mounts inside or out? Door card or sidestrips? If its the door card I don't mind as I'll use ph1 door cards lol

Ph1 and ph3 doors - Matt - 11-01-2012

Im talking about the ACTUAL strips - as i said in my first post - THE WIDTHS CAN BE DIFFERENT ...
(as in the width of the ACTUAL strips)
So when he's looking for a new door, if he needs the same width to be aware of this...

and a picture to tell you what i was on about..

Re: Ph1 and ph3 doors - Connor - 12-01-2012

No ginge, he just has to take the rub strip off his current door and fit to the new door... THE HOLES ARE THE SAME... I never said the rub strips are the same...
