Epic Day Yesterday, Now Engaged! - Dum-Dum - 11-01-2012
I had an absolutely epic 26th Birthday yesterday.
Had a lie in
Went and got Tae at 11am
Went for afternoon tea at the crooked house of Windsor which was lush
Went for a nice stroll in Windsor Great Park
Popped the question to Tae with a 'temporary ring' I had made out of electrical wire
She said yes
Went and got the car Dyno'd and it made 139.2bhp and 129lb/ft
Went shopping for a proper ring and not only did she like the ones id previously picked out in my head but she actually prefers the cheaper ones so ill of saved £££s
Went Karting (70mph twin engined pro karts) and wasnt too far off the lap record but had a massive crash on the very fastest section of the track, went into the barriers at about 60mph, tyres everywhere and half burried both myself and the kart, I now have a Huge lump on my leg from where the first bit of barrier hit. Left some impressive skid marks though
Went and told our parents and made it official by posting it on FB
Then went to Portsmouth for a practice bwap through the Hindhead tunnel and a Micks Monster Burger
Went Pub with Samanfa, 4waydiablo and pompeymark
Got home before midnight in time for birthday ***

That does sound like the perfect birthday, glad to hear you keep having fun in old age (not that I have any idea how old you are
)! Typical bloke though, right, to combine his OWN birthday with the engagement anniversary... Clever future thinking there, pal! Moonstone picked Valentine's Day to pop the question - that's about as creative!
And as I'm a girl I'd love a picture of the wire ring!!!

the ring isnt that big. Its a perfect fit over her ring finger and probably around 3cm across

Gotta admit, when you said "ring made from wire", i envisaged something you'd cut off the egr earlier in the day. Credit where credit's due though, good job man!
