Photo of the Panzer!!! - InkedMuttley - 27-11-2012 Yes I have nicknamed the Polo...Panzer, mainly because A: It sounds like a tank (slight blowing exhaust!) and B: A tank is probably easier to f*cking steer...and probably has a lot less body roll! If I decide to keep it...Which I am considering as I wouldn't mind ratting it a bit I wouldn't mind doing the following: Coilovers (£168 for 4!!!) Banded steels or dished alloys Big bore STICKERBOMBS!!! The coilovers I have my eyes on are brand new and are adjustable from 20mm drop right down to 120mm!!! RE: Photo of the Panzer!!! - Curt - 27-11-2012 Those coliovers are the ones that are all over the place, had cheapo's on my A3, have them on the '6 and just bought some for the MX-5. They do the job for lows, just don't expect them to be particularly civilised... Although if it's only a runabout, that's still a fair amount to spend on it... and beware with the rat look, it's easy to get wrong! I don't mind Polo's, although the previous generation in "coupe" form would be the one for me. Preferably with a supercharger RE: Photo of the Panzer!!! - InkedMuttley - 27-11-2012 The banded steels I think I might just go the cheapest option...get a half decent set of wide-ish alloys clean em up and give the tyres a slight stretch but wheels no bigger than about 13-14" on spacers and then deck it. TBH the ride don't bother me it's already like it's dampened by girders so the ride has to be an improvement if you ask me! But lows is mainly what I want. RE: Photo of the Panzer!!! - Curt - 27-11-2012 Go for it then! Shit loads of cheap 13" dished wheels on eGay |
