Bear in mind that with the first one, the dish (without the boss) will bring it closer by 95mm. Once you add the snap-off it'll be a lot closer! Both links are snap-off adapters, the only real difference is how deep they are so how much further it brings the wheel out.

Although, Matt had on of the slimmer cheap ones, and it was shocking! It had loads of play in it, so it was sacked off

RE: Snap of boss - Just Sean - 19-11-2012

what do you mean both links are adapters... two links are steering wheels and the bottom one is adapters!

I think im gonna go for the second steering wheel, looks a bit beefier. prefere suede too

Edit...

Found this...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350609511074 will be better as its an official omp seller! The other one was a fake... Will havve to take the airbag light out

RE: Snap of boss - Matt - 19-11-2012

Slim snap off boss' are shit. My wheel felt like it was going to come off most of the time. Was awfull

RE: Snap of boss - Just Sean - 19-11-2012

Found a seller that offers a 5 years money back gaurentee @ £30 im not expecting miracles but ill give it a go and ill send it back if i dont like it.

RE: Snap of boss - Matt - 19-11-2012

Sounds like the same one I bought. If it is then he only gives you store credit. I had to open a PayPal dispute to get my money back

RE: Snap of boss - Just Sean - 19-11-2012

Its one for the future anyway, need topay krisb to get my clutch and turbo fitted!

RE: Snap of boss - Matt - 19-11-2012

Yeah that's the exact one I have, it's currently say in the passenger footwell after I removed it. Zero play for the first day. Then it starts to rock and just gets worse

RE: Snap of boss - cwspellowe - 19-11-2012

It does look pretty cheap and nasty compared to some of the proper ones. If i were going snap off i'd get a flat wheel, as a dished wheel on a boss brings the wheel miles away from the dash. It's fine where it is now but I couldn't cope with it being 5-6cm closer!

RE: Snap of boss - Just Sean - 19-11-2012

Im going to get the tagra one, nota fanof dished wheels, want to be able to reach the stalks!

Okay, cheers matt, ill just get a normal boss. Proper snap offs are about 150!

RE: Snap of boss - Curt - 19-11-2012

I meant both the options in the link are snap off adapters... I know the others are steering wheels Confused
